Decor in the pub is great, nice large space so you don't feel crammed in.
Great place, full of welcoming friendly people and staff.
Busy pub throughout the week.2 pool tables which are free on a Monday other days its £1 a game.
It's a big place, looks clean. Draw back, ladies toilets upstairs, no disabled toilets.
What a mess this place was tonight. Bar staff serving anyone they knew first even some who had been asked to leave by security for getting up on tables singing.
No social distancing and more people in the bar than had seating for. This used to be a nice place to go for a drink now full of drunken teenagers wont be going again for some time. Had to wait ages to be served.
I was pleasantly surprised when we entered the Stocks. The decor is really nice, it's obvious that a lot of money has been spent on it. We had a carvery and overall it was really good. The desserts are delicious too. But what has stuck in my mind the most is the staff. So friendly and helpful, and keen to get our feedback about the food. We met the owner who was also very welcoming. We will definitely go back. The car park is free. Trouble is it has a few pot holes. Give it a try though, I'm sure you'll be pleased
£3.20 for a pint of Coke won't be buying another one there. Went in on Saturday night and it wasn't that busy which was pretty surprising.
Very friendly atmosphere in the pub. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Good choice of drinks with reasonable prices. Some sitting places outside of the pub. Car parking spaces also available. Unfortunately in this pub food isn't available.
